She is passionate about customer experience and patient safety, health equity, and operations optimization to improve patient care and service outcomes.

Lisa’s professional experience includes 7 years of corporate strategy and operations management with Deloitte Consulting, where she recruited and managed teams of up to 20+ and led complex process and operations improvement initiatives. In this role she routinely led C-suite level, complex process improvement and strategy initiatives to help pharmacy, healthcare delivery and health plan companies improve patient outcomes, core operational effectiveness, risk reduction, revenue and internal collaboration practices. Illustrative engagements include leading an accumulator diagnostic team for a Fortune 50 Health Plan facing technology and process challenges, and process leadership for a multi-million-dollar compliance initiative with a financial services firm navigating the sub-prime lending mortgage crisis, employing a Six Sigma-based change management methodology to create successful organizational change and to meet regulatory and compliance requirements.

In late 2020, Lisa took leave from the Ventura County Health Care Agency where she served as Senior Administrator for Quality, Patient Safety, Regulatory Compliance and Risk, in order to attend to family during the pandemic, and balance Zoom-kindergarten and aging parents’ needs.  In her part-time role she continues to work with the County’s finance, operations and physician teams to create staffing models, business cases for new services, marketing plans and other operational support, specific to Maternal Fetal Medicine, Obstetrics and hospital-based Midwifery services. Lisa founded and co-led the Ventura County Medical System’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) task force, initiated in 2020, aimed at improving health equity for patients and inclusive culture for the healthcare workforce.

Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, Lisa launched and operated Thrive Family Care Ojai, a licensed assisted living “board and care” home for seniors, founded in 2017.

Lisa also has expertise in executive coaching, program leadership, fundraising, grant-writing and non-profit advocacy and public affairs. She has led independent strategic planning projects for domestic organizations such as the MS Society, and organizations in rural Uganda (Kyetume) and Israel (MEET).
